Samuel Obeng joins Italian club Empoli on loan
Samuel Obeng, a young Ghanaian player, has been signed by Italian club Empoli on a short loan from lower division club EurAfrica FC in Ghana.
Samuel Obeng is recognized for his amazing long-range goals and has superb ball control and creativity.
The 21-year-old’s remarkable achievements at last year’s ArthurLegacy invitational tournament drew the attention of scouts from numerous European teams, and he is one of ten players who have been transferred to European clubs as part of the ArthurLegacy life transformation program.
Empoli, is an Italian football club based in Empoli, Metropolitan City of Florence. Empoli has spent most of its history in professional football. In Europe, the best result obtained was participation in the 2007–08 UEFA Cup.
Paolo Zanetti is their head coach and they play their home games at the Stadio Carlo Castellani. Empoli is currently 14th on the Serie A table with 28 points after 27 games.
