Rashid Mohammed on verge of signing for Karela United

Former Legon Cities defender Rashid Mohammed is on the verge of joining Karela United, according to Sportsworldghana.com.

The news outlet reports that negotiations between Mohammed and the Pride and Passion club are in their final stages, with the player expected to sign a two-year deal.

Mohammed, who previously served as the captain of Techiman Eleven Wonders, has been without a club since leaving Legon Cities, where last played in the 2021/22 Ghana Premier League.

This will be the defender’s second stint with Karela United, as he was part of the team that helped the club qualify for the Premier League in 2017.

The addition of Rashid Mohammed to the roster is expected to boost Karela United’s defensive capabilities and help the club in their quest for survival this season.
