Manchester United’s interest in Jeremie Frimpong increases

Manchester United’s interest in Jeremie Frimpong seems to be taking shape as the Red Devils plan to strengthen their right back area for next season.

Jeremie Frimpong has been in the spotlight at Bayer Leverkusen due to his speed and offensive desire. This season, the 22-year-old right-back has five goals and seven assists in 29 competitive appearances. Apparently, an incentive for Manchester United to step up their Frimpong efforts.

According to ‘Football Insider,’ the Red Devils are currently putting together a summer offer. Last October, it was rumored that United were interested in Frimpong. The quick full-back is thought to have finally persuaded the Premier League club’s scouts.

According to the publication, the Leverkusen team anticipates a sum of 45 to 55 million euros. Although Frimpong is happy at Bayer, a transfer to England is thought to be highly appealing to him. Frimpong is still under contract with the Bundesliga club until 2025, and there is no departure clause, according to sources. When United makes an initial offer, sports director Simon Rolfes has the upper hand.
