Legon Cities need to improve especially on finishing – Coach Maxwell Konadu admits

The head coach of Legon Cities FC, Maxwell Konadu had reservations about his team’s performance over the weekend in the MTN FA Cup.

The gaffer was in the dugout on Sunday afternoon when the Royals locked horns with Volta Rangers in the Round 16 of the MTN FA Cup competition.

Following a very cagey encounter in 90 minutes, the game ended 1-1 and had to go to the penalty shootout.

Fortunately, for the Ghana Premier League side, the team managed to secure a 4-3 win at the end of the shootout to advance to the quarterfinals of the competition.

Speaking after the match, coach Maxwell Konadu admitted that the performance of Legon Cities FC was not the best.

According to him, his side must improve going forward especially the finishing aspect of their play.

Meanwhile, coach Maxwell Konadu is confident that Legon Cities FC can win this season’s MTN FA Cup.
