‘It pains me people said Black Stars players are solved after getting Inaki Williams’ – Charles Taylor

Former Ghana attacker Charles Taylor says it pays him journalists said the problems of Black Stars are solved after getting players like Inaki Williams.

After switching nationality to play for the four-time African champions in June 2022, the Spain-born Ghanaian made the Black Stars squad for the Qatar World Cup, featuring in all three games but failing to score.

The 28-year-old is yet to flourish for Ghana like he does for his club in LaLiga, leaving people asking questions about the need to bring him into the Black Stars team.

“We just like cheap things, and rejected goods seem to be our priority,” the former Asante Kotoko star told Akoma FM.

“It really pains me that some journalists were saying all our problems were solved after securing players like Inaki Williams.

“I only smile and also see such journalist as people whose understanding of football knowledge is suspect.”
