Ghanaian striker Benjamin Boateng scores to seal big win for Smouha in Egypt

Ghanaian international, Benjamin Bernard Boateng was in action for Smouha on Sunday afternoon and displayed impressive form.

In a Round 20 encounter between his club and Haras El Hodood, the former Elmina Sharks poster boy missed out on a starting role for his team.

Late in added time of the second half, he was introduced to replace Mostafa Saad.

Just four minutes after coming on, Benjamin Bernard Boateng was presented with a good chance and capitalized to his full advantage.

The striker picked his spot and fired an unstoppable shot that hit the Haras El Hodood net to seal a delightful 3-0 win for Smouha.

Before his goal in injury time, a brace from Hossam Hassan had given the home team the advantage already.

With his goal today, Benjamin Bernard Boateng now has three goals in the Egyptian Premier League this season after making 18 appearances.
